Title of the talk: Social Networks, Gender Norms and Labor Supply: Experimental Evidence Using a Job Search Platform 

The presentation discusses findings from a large-scale field experiment examining how access to digital job platforms interacts with social networks and gender norms to shape labor supply decisions within households. The research highlights the importance of family dynamics and peer networks in understanding labor market outcomes, particularly for women. 

The talk will be followed by an open discussion. A formal commentary on the paper will be provided by Ilyés Virág, alumna of the Doctoral School of Sociology and Communication Science. 

The event is organised by the Gender and Culture Group of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences.
