Anthropocentrism offers a particular order of human-nature relationships that privileges humans and contributes to the legitimization of the exploitation of nature. Its importance in public discourse is often underestimated, while material explanations and rhetoric have become more readily accepted. Come and join leading scholars as we discuss and debate anthropocentrism’s role and relevance in eco-ideological research and environmental decay.
