Green Hackathon 2026 at Corvinus University of Budapest

The event is organized within the framework of the CEEPUS #TASA network, while the local organization at Corvinus University is coordinated by the Department of Tourism. 

The programme starts on 1 June with the arrival of the international participants and community-building activities. From 2 June, members of the university community are also warmly invited to join the public programmes of the event, including the opening session, roundtable discussion, and student presentations. 

The official opening on 2 June will feature speeches by Prof. Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest, and Anikó Miszné Korenchy, Programme Coordinator at the Hungarian National CEEPUS Office. The opening session will be followed by a roundtable discussion focusing on sustainability and the fashion industry with invited academic and industry experts. 

During the two-day professional programme, international student teams will present innovative sustainability-focused solutions before an international jury. The final debate between the two finalist teams and the award ceremony will take place on 3 June. 

The Green Hackathon aims to strengthen international academic cooperation, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and provide students with an opportunity to develop creative and sustainable ideas in an international environment.
