What are couches like? Antic, modern, soft, hard, red, blue. What part of our life do they witness? Where did their furniture story begin, and when did it become our human story around them?
On stage is a COUCH. Knowing all secrets. You, the audience will tell where you imagine this couch would be, and the impro actors of the American Corner play the story around it. In this experimental piece of theatre, nothing is scripted or decided on beforehand. If you wonder why impro style of theater is so popular in the US, come and see for yourself!

Organised by the American Corner Corvinus, English-language improv performance is being staged at the Corvinus Faculty Club. In this experimental piece of theatre, nothing is scripted or decided on beforehand. In fact, at the beginning of any show, neither the performers nor the audience know what’s going to happen. It’s a hazardous yet an adventurous affair for all concerned, which brings people closer together. If you have stage fright, don’t worry. Nobody will be pressured into taking part if they don’t want to. However, if you’d like to try out improv, you’re very welcome to join in.
