Summer in Budapest. Ábel should be studying for his finals, but he’s fallen for his best friend, Janka — who herself is secretly in love with their history teacher, Jakab. Jakab has a family and is struggling to survive as a teacher in Hungary, already at odds with Ábel’s conservative father. When Ábel’s history exam explodes into a national scandal, the tensions of a divided society erupt — and Ábel finds himself stuck between both sides, still just a boy in love.
