The Pro Scientia Gold Medals, established by the National Council of Scientific Students (OTDT), are awarded to outstanding individuals based on the overall professional and academic performance of their students, while the Master Teacher Gold Medal is awarded to teachers who have performed outstandingly effective, dedicated work in the field of supervision and scientific organisation over many years, for promoting, developing and recognising the scientific activities of university and college students in the form of scientific student groups, professional colleges or other forms of self-study, going beyond the mandatory curriculum.

The OTDT awards these distinctions every two years, with 3-4 economists being eligible to receive them at national level. This year, in the Economics section, associate professor Dr Barbara Jenes and associate professor Dr Ariel Zoltán Mitev were awarded the Master Teacher Gold Medal, while our students Áron Dénes Hartvig and Anna Bánóczi were awarded the Pro Scientia Gold Medal.

Congratulations to them!
