The World University Squash Championship was held in Cairo this year. In total 12 countries were represented in the event: athletes came from Japan, Korea, South Africa and numerous European countries. The tournament was held at two venues, with an additional glass court where the top four players competed against each other.
Sára finished in 15th place and the competition was a great event and a learning experience for her. In the second half of the tournament, she started as a member of the Hungarian team together with two teammates, and they finished in 9th place.
“I would like to thank Corvinus University of Budapest for supporting me to get to the tournament, and further promoting my beloved sport in Hungary, especially among my fellow students,” Sára said about the competition.
