During project week, the students from Pest visited Székesfehérvár under the guidance of Dr. Ivett Pinke-Sziva and Viola Horváth, to meet their dual partner and their peers from Fehérvár. This semester, the students are working for Turisztikai Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft in Székesfehérvár on the brand positioning of the city, defining its uniqueness and creating experience promises. First they attended a presentation by the dual partner, followed by a sightseeing tour, and visited the city’s iconic attraction, the Bory Castle, which is the most popular landmark on social media, interpreting the role it can play in the shaping of a specific position for the destination’s segments.

During the same week, students from Fehérvár arrived at the Pest Campus and participated in workshops led by Orsolya Szakály and Dr. Ivett Pinke-Sziva, during which they worked on creating product development ideas that could strengthen the role of post-pandemic Budapest in the Hungarian market by showcasing the city’s natural treasures and gastronomy. They also participated in a guided tour of an iconic attraction, Gellért Hill, from a wine history perspective, led by the Let’s Go Together hiking community, in order to experience the practical side of the functioning of visitor management tools from this perspective. The joint participation in the classes and the joint live projects offer special and unique experiences for both groups involved in the programme.

The trip was made possible with the support of the EFOP 351 project.
