The common objective is: extend job-related knowledge or achieve better performance.

• Digital syllabus development

• How is animation produced?

 • What are the strengths and weaknesses of the so-called digital generation?

 • Would you like to improve your presentation skills?

• Would you like to manage stress or possible conflicts in a better way?

The common objective is: extend job-related knowledge or achieve better performance. If you are already familiar with the basics, but you wish to refine your knowledge, or if you are preparing for a new position or increased responsibilities.

The CORVINUS KNOWLEDGE WORKSHOP is there to help you!

The Teacher Training and Digital Learning Centre offers a wide range of topics and presents excellent lecturers again to those – and only to those – whose performance objectives include the development of a particular discipline or a professional area, and their objective form has been submitted to the HR database.
If you missed it this year, or your objective form did not arrive in the system for some reason, the next time you can select an internal training to support your performance objectives will be in early 2021.

Some courses will start already this week, i.e. in the week of 12 October 2020!

As the format is adjusted to the contents, the repertoire of the Knowledge Workshop includes more workshops or on-line courses in addition to trainings, and training will be held in the following major topics.

Each topic covers multiple areas:

  • Autogenic training (relaxation training) (led by a clinical psychologist)
  • Supporting blended learning and digital syllabus development
  • Motivation and individual differences, characteristic features of the digital generation, changes in teachers’ roles
  • Gamification in education
  • Communication and conflict management trainings
  • Application of cooperative teaching methods in education
  • Development of mentoring and support
  • Metering and assessment with digital tools
  • Use of Moodle
  • Presentation skills development training (with the support of the Institute of Communication and Sociology)
  • Stress management training
  • Learning result based (LeO) training and syllabus development
  • Activity based methods
  • Science communication training (with the support of the Institute of Communication and Sociology)
  • Role of visuality and graphic tools in education

Each participant receives a personal message before the start of the training. Individual courses are of different length, but all of them will finish in January 2021 at the latest, and you can select and start new courses again when you define new performance objectives. The longest course takes 14 weeks,

All the trainings will be held during working hours, using the University’s infrastructure, either in person, or in Teams. All the participating colleagues are kindly requested to inform their supervisors about the dates of the trainings. We are planning to publish the agenda of the trainings on the website of the University, too.

Should you be unable to attend a selected training for any reason, or should you have any questions/requests, please contact Alexandra Jávorfy-Lázok.

We wish fruitful trainings and successful professional preparations to all our colleagues!
