Further info about research: Jelen kutatásunkkal célunk a korábbi kutatásunk egyes témaköreinek továbbfejlesztése volt, felhasználva a korábbi kutatás során keletkezett tapasztalatainkat, más önkormányzatban, illetve szervezetben megvizsgálni a társadalmi nemi szempontok jelentkezését. Az önkormányzatok speciális szervezetek annyiban, hogy nőtöbbség jellemzi őket, és az önkormányzati vezetők körében is gyakran számos nő található. A szakirodalomban ritka az ilyen jellegű szervezetek vizsgálata a nemek közötti különbségek szempontjából. Új eredményeinkt árnyalták korábbi kutatásaink megállapításait, még gazdagabb képet kapjunk a „nemek kultúrájának” különféle megjelenési módjairól. (A kutatást Vicsek Lillával közösen végeztük.)

Further info about research: 2004–2005 között kutatást végeztünk egy magyarországi önkormányzatnál, hogy feltárjuk a nemek társadalmi esélyegyenlőségével kapcsolatos helyzetet és véleményeket. Külön vizsgáltuk az önkormányzat hivatalát és a politikai testületet. A kutatás a LIBRA 2003 (Programme Relating to the Community Framework Strategy on Gender Equality részét képező) európai projekt keretében zajlott. A vizsgálat során többféle módszert kombináltunk: kvantitatív és kvalitatív adatfelvételt, kapcsolathálózati megközelítést, vezetői interjúkat és fókuszcsoportokat.
