What will you study?
Core courses – Core courses worth 30 credits
To bridge the knowledge gap between different academic disciplines (in economics, finance and business studies), these foundational courses offer essential skills and concepts.
Methodology – Methods Module, minimum value of 24 credits
This module includes courses aimed at developing students’ analytical skills and practical proficiency in software tools, equipping them to tackle real-world problems effectively.
Global Economic Policies Module, minimum 12 credits
It includes courses that familiarize students with the structures and mechanisms of economic and political regions. We believe that a solid understanding of external factors is essential for conducting meaningful analytical work.
International Economics and Business Administration module – International and Business Economics module, minimum 30 credits
It includes courses that build on the core curriculum, deepening the competencies acquired in earlier modules. For example, Global Value Chains serves as an advanced continuation of International Business Economics and World Economics Global Flow of Factors.
In addition, there is also a synthesizing, three-quarter project subject worth 16 credits
The project is based on intensive seminar and research work in small groups (3-5 people), during which students apply what they have learned in the methodology module to answer a concrete, real-world problem. The aim is to enable the project to adapt flexibly to the nature of the problem, its thematic dividing and the student’s interest. The output of the course is a thesis work.
International opportunities
Double degree
As part of our double degree programme, you can apply to the University of Liège. This way, alongside your studies at Corvinus, you can also complete a programme at this foreign university. With two degrees, you’ll have a significant advantage in the job market, as the quality of a Corvinus degree is well-known in Hungary, and an international qualification demonstrates your strong language skills and international experience.
CEMS
CEMS – which was ranked in the top 5% of the world’s best business programmes by the QS 2025. Enrolling on the English programme will automatically give you access to this programme. If you apply to the Hungarian programme, you can apply to CEMS optionally.
