DSG 30: German language business administration programme at Corvinus – 30 years together with Passau

In 2023, the Corvinus University of Budapest is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its German management training programme.

DSG Corvinus invites everyone interested to an anniversary event on 19 April 2023 to celebrate the achievements of these 30 years. 

Presenting the DSG programme and the German language business administration programme, the event will be centred around ‘corporate and organisational sustainability and financeability in the context of current global challenges. We have invited outstanding academic experts and practitioners of the field to the German language event. 

Date: Wednesday, 19 April 2023, 12 noon – 8 pm 

Venue: Corvinus University of Budapest, Auditorium III and Grand Hall 

Preliminary programme: 

  • 12.30 pm – 12.40 pm: Welcome 
  • 12.40 pm – 1.00 pm: Speeches by the Rectors of the Corvinus University of Budapest and the University of Passau 
  • 1.00 pm – 1.15 pm: Signing ceremony of the double degree agreement—Masters programme in management, University of Passau and the Corvinus University of Budapest 
  • 1.15 pm – 1.45 pm: Keynote speech: Professor Klaus Töpfer, former member of parliament, former executive director of the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP), former Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety 
  • 1.45 pm – 2.45 pm: Roundtable talk: Corporate and organisational sustainability and economy, German and Hungarian practices

    • Prof. Karsten Kieckhäfer, Head of the Logistics Department at the FernUniversität in Hagen and Deputy Director of the Research Cluster Energy, Environment & Sustainability

    • Dr. Thomas Narbeshuber, BASF Vice President Central & South-East Europe

  • 5.00 pm – 8.00 pm: Danube Cup pitch competition: Selection of the Hungarian teams to participate in the international competition organised by the University of Passau, the University of Regensburg and OTH Regensburg in May 2023
