Do you like to sing? Then Crescendo is the place for you!

Crescendo Corvinus, our university’s official mixed choir and student organization, welcomes music-lovers to its weekly choir rehearsals held on Wednesdays from 19:10 to 20:40. Rehearsals are conducted bilingually, so non-Hungarian speakers and participants of international scholarship programs are also warmly invited to join.
Our student organization was founded in the autumn of 2023. Led by conductor Sándor Kabdebó, the choir frequently performs at university events, has sung at charity occasions, and has appeared at several venues in Hungary’s musical life. In 2025, the choir returned from the Éneklő Ifjúság (Singing Youth) Choir Festival, held in Eger, with a gold certificate, and in November it achieved second place at the 10th Zoltán Kodály Hungarian Choir Competition.
Beyond professional musical development, Crescendo also offers a vibrant community life. Karaoke nights, choir camps, and theatre visits provide great opportunities to make new friends. We believe in creating an art-loving community where everyone can find their place.
The choir can also be taken as an elective course: look for OMMK034NMBB Choir 1 / Kórus 1 in Neptun!
If you are interested in Crescendo, join us for our infonight and open rehearsal on February 11 at 19:00 in Lecture Hall C IX, and sing with us!
