Three-year EcoVeloTour Project Concludes

EcoVeloTour project, a three-year international project with the participation of Corvinus University of Budapest (CUB), will be completed on September 30th, 2021. The aim of the project was the promotion of sustainable tourism, particularly the development of cyclist tourism along the international cycle routes crossing the Danube region. The lead partner of the project was Zugló Municipality of Budapest. Besides Zugló, a further nine project partners from seven countries along the Danube have carried out project activities.

Biotechnology in the Limelight: New Article by Corvinus Researchers

A highly topical article has recently been published by CUB researchers in Statisztikai Szemle (Volume 99, No. 6.). The paper examines the economic prospects for biotechnology industry, focusing on the situation in Hungary. The paper is gap-filling, because the economic performance of the Hungarian biotechnology sector has not been analysed and evaluated in the last ten years, despite the global tendencies of biotechnology industries and biotech R&D companies driving economic growth.
