Ágnes Szunomár’s Account of Recent Conferences

Ágnes Szunomár, associate professor at the Institute of International, Political and Regional Studies, has had a busy schedule of a conference, a workshop, and a round table meeting in recent months. Enjoy her brief account of these events.

On 5th July, I participated in an online roundtable discussion entitled “Fudan Hungary and its contexts”, organized by Central European University’s Democracy Institute and the COST Action China in Europe Research Network (CHERN)

On 6th September, I participated in the 51st University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES) Annual Conference with a paper presentation with the title “Engaging with China through the Digital Silk Road: the case of Central and Eastern Europe”. The conference was held online.

On the 8th September, I participated in an international workshop entitled Infrastructure connectivity with Chinese characteristics, organized by COST Action China in Europe Research Network (CHERN), held in Leuven, Belgium.
