Similarity check in scientific texts
Since 2019, at Corvinus University of Budapest, a similarity check is run on all MA-, BA-theses and PhD dissertations. We complete the check using the Turnitin software. In the case of BA/MA theses, the check is run via the Moodle system. Students and faculty members can find information about the results on the Moodle surface.
From January 2021 the similarity check of articles is also available (e.g. before submitting to journals), for which we use Crossref Similarity Check – iThenticate. Further information regarding the service can be requested at szolg@uni-corvinus.hu.
The chart below shows the handling of the different papers:
