Joint European Master’s degree in Comparative Local Development

The focus of the program falls on localdevelopment, specifically considering public,private and non-governmental factors asfundamental agents of change; questionsrelated to social stability and economicprosperity, in conformity with the Europeanstandards and best practice. Our generalapproach is comparative and interdisciplinary.As a multidisciplinary program, CoDe bringstogether scholars and participants from variousfields. Partners of the program believe that themultifaceted challenges of local developmentnecessitate a comprehensive approach andaccordingly, involve scholars and experts fromthe fields of Economics, Social Sciences and Lawas well as from other disciplines relevant to localdevelopment (e.g. environmental engineering).The course bridges universities, local authorities,firms and other organizations all over the worldwith its extended partnership.
