Fundraising for the refugees of the Russian-Ukrainian war
In cooperation with the Hungarian Interchurch Aid, we organize our joint university charity activities with the Students’ Union, which aim to help refugees coming to Hungary from Ukraine.
We have set up donation boxes: one at the entrance of Building C, right next to the security desk, and the other in Building E opposite the south entrance. In these boxes, we will collect your donations and offer them to those in need with the help of the Hungarian Interchurch Aid. At the same time, the leadership of the University is donating HUF 500.000 from its budget to help refugees fleeing the war.
Individual cash donations can be sent to the Hungarian Interchurch Aid in the following ways
- by calling their donation line: 1353 – 250 HUF/ call
- through the following bank account number: 11705008-20464565-00000000 (reference: purpose of donation)
The leadership of the University has contacted eight Ukrainian economic studies institutions and offered its help. From these, the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education in Berehove has expressed that they are in need of financial aid in this situation the most. All those who would like to financially support the College in Berehove because of the Ukrainian-Russian war can do so by sending a donation to the following bank account or by making a payment to:
