GyörgyDrótos is an associate professor and director at the Corvinus University ofBudapest (BCE), Institute of Management. His main field of study and researchinterest is digital transformation in companies and public institutions andtheir inter-organisational networks. He studies the impact of intelligenttechnologies primarily in the areas of strategic competitive advantages,operational processes and managerial control. In 2016, he initiated theestablishment of the BCE Family Business Centre, of which he is also director.
He obtained hisdiploma and PhD degree from the legal predecessor institutions of BCE. Hecontinued his postgraduate studies at Warwick Business School, IESE and CaseWestern Reserve University. As a visiting researcher, he spent longer periodsat Aston Business School, Erasmus University, Catholic University of Leuven andVictoria University of Wellington. He is a member of the Economics Committee ofthe Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Board of the Association ofManagement and Controlling. He has also been active in management consulting,having been a partner of Horváth & Partners multinational consulting firmfor ten years.
