The Institute of Business Economics is a place for university level teaching and research in the area of corporate strategy and operation. Our approach is characterized by an executive angle and a stakeholder view. We cherish our connections with the students, with higher education institutions as well as business actors.
The Institute was founded on 1st January 2005 as the successor of the Department of Business Economics. Its predecessor was headed by Attila Chikán (1988-1998), Mihály Gálik (1998-2001) and Erzsébet Czakó (2001-2005). Since the transformation the Director of the Institute has been professor Erzsébet Czakó PhD.
