Dean of the Master’s Degree Portfolio

In line with its institutional development and educational strategy, the University is currently restructuring and developing the direction of its Master’s degree teaching portfolio. In the development of the Master’s programmes, the most important strategic objectives are internationalisation, the integration of the content of the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, and the launch of two-year and one-year specialised Master’s programmes in business and social sciences, in response to changing needs. All this requires that our Master’s programmes strengthen subject-specific competencies by focusing on labour market expectations, trends and student preferences.

The Dean is responsible for

  • Designing and implementing Master’s programmes to meet market needs, developing the programme portfolio, designing, implementing and innovating processes.
  • Revenue planning for the Master’s programmes, implementation of the plans, and achieving the planned revenues.
  • Managing the actions and measures necessary for the planned increase in domestic and international students, managing the related domestic enrolment process, and supporting the international enrolment process.
  • Measuring and regularly evaluating the performance of the Master’s programme portfolio against internationally accepted standards, with the involvement of supervisors and heads of department.
  • Maintaining regular contacts with national and international professional communities (chambers, professional associations, academic and scientific bodies, businesses), organising the participation of visiting lecturers in university programmes, organising collaborative programmes and cooperation between professional communities.
  • Providing professional direction and leadership to line managers and contributing to the implementation of annual and strategic plans. Liaise and cooperate with the heads of the institutes.
