Ágnes Hofmeister, professor at Corvinus University of Budapest has become the first Hungarian ambassador of EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development).
EFMD is an internationally renowned body of accreditation for business schools and their programs.
During its 20 years of operation the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) has become a non-profit-making global community which is now among the pioneers and supporters of management training in many countries.
Ágnes Hofmeister formerly worked as Dean of Corvinus Business School for 7,5 years. She has been a member of the Board of EFMD for years, and now has been appointed the first EFMD ambassador of Hungary. Her task is to publicise the EFMD network and its educational facilitating activities, as well as to emphasize their importance. Her work will be fully supported by the EFMD Board.
Among the goals of EFMD is to increase the prestige of Management Training at an international level, and to enhance the quality of education. Ms. Hofmeister’s work is considered extremely important by the Corvinus University of Budapest as she has been actively taking part in the accreditation activities of our institution, and her future position as ambassador will help improve education at CUB even further.
