Department of Marketing Management

The Department of Marketing Management, operating within the framework of the Institute of Marketing and Communication Sciences, deals with strategic and management issues of marketing, with a focus on sales (retail, personal selling), service marketing, and tourism marketing. The department is made up of current and future iconic figures of marketing science, authors of high-impact marketing and methodology textbooks and defining articles. Researchers with a broad methodological background are great partners in research, mentoring, education, thinking together and creating value together. They are excellent companions for all those who get lost on the bumpy and interdisciplinary path of marketing. The department’s researchers publish in leading international journals in the field, such as the International Journal of Research in Marketing, the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Travel Research, the Journal of Vacation Marketing or Service Business.
