Title: Geography and Politics in South America in thefirst decades of the 21st century
Covered topics:
– Geographical view of South America according to several authors of the Brazilian School of Geopolitics (e.g. Mário Travassos and Golbery do Couto e Silva);
– Comparison of present-day military capabilities of the most relevant South American states;
– Political changes in the sub-continent in the last 20 years (political waves left/right).
