On 21 May, former central bank governor, Corvinus private professor György Surányi spoke at Corvinus University at the invitation of the HEAD student organisation, the House of European Affairs and Diplomacy. In a packed lecture hall, he discussed Hungary’s past and present economic situation, the introduction of the euro, and the feasibility of the new government’s economic plans.
