The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and practitioners to discuss state-of-the-art results in the field of financial market liquidity. After the successes of events the workshop in 2010 and the conference in 2011 it is the third time that the

Corvinus University of Budapest

is organizing an event related to liquidity. The conference will be held at the Corvinus University of Budapest.

The conference gathers new ideas and results related to financial market liquidity. These topics include:
- Asset Pricing
- Bank Regulation
- Financial Markets
- Macroeconomic Policy
- Market Microstructure
- Quantitative Risk Management
Other disciplines that add new perspectives to the field are also welcome.

Call for participation in the poster session
The Annual Financial Market Liquidity Conference will hold a poster session.
Submission deadline: 25th October, 2012
To apply to the poster session send at least a title and an abstract to Péter Csóka (peter.csoka@uni-corvinus.hu).
The organizing committee will approve all posters in 3 days after submission. Selected posters can be presented in the last session of the conference. Presenters of accepted posters will get 40 % reduction from the conference fee. Posters should be printed by the presenters.

Registration fee*:
1 day participation HUF 25000 (or EUR 90) for registration by 25th October, 2012,
HUF 35000 (or EUR 125) afterwards (also applicable on the spot).

2 days participation HUF 50000 (or EUR 180) for registration by 25th October, 2012.
HUF 70000 (or EUR 250) afterwards (also applicable on the spot).

Conference dinner (menu):(not included in participation fee) 10000 HUF (or EUR 35), kindly register by 5th November, 2012.

REGISTRATION

*Members of EFFAS, ACIIA, CFA Society Hungary, the Finance Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA Pénzügytani Albizottság) and presenters of approved posters are eligible for a 40 % discount on all fees.

All students (B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD) of Corvinus University of Budapest, masters and doctoral students of all Hungarian universities may apply to attend the lectures of the conference free of charge upon registration by 29th October, 2012. To register, please send an English motivation letter (max 1 page) on why you would like to attend, specifying your name, study level and name of your institution to liquidityconference@gmail.com. Approximately 20-30 students will be accepted; accepted applicants will be informed by 5th November, 2012.
