The society has got a huge role to form an environmental awareness thought.
Our Department is able to make for establish the complex thought and environmental aspects by the dealing of the variations and interactions of the three environmental elements (soil, water, air) which are regulating the agroecosystems.This and the sense of responsibility for the environment might be connected for the protection of the abiotic environmental elements (soil, water, air) as natural resources, which stablish the living condition for the future generations.
We make the students to get acquainted with the elements of the environment, and the meteorological factors by the subject teached at the Department.It can help us to reach higher production environmentally friendly without additional energy usage.
As we teach BSc level to give theoretical and practical information about the soil as the basic planting substances is crucial. For cultivating the soil as conditionally renewable natural resource is essential to know its properties and its variation.
There are subjects which give the basic knowledge for the purposeful water management and for the protection of the environmental resources.
Our staff educates in six disciplines (agrochemistry, pedology, meteorology, water management, geology, environmental management) on the Faculty of Horticultural Science, Food Science, and Landscape Architecture on BSc and MSc levels.
