QS World University Ranking 

Corvinus University of Budapest has been ranked by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking since 2013. The QS World University Rankings is made up of six indicators: academic reputation (40%), employer reputation (10%), faculty student ratio (20%), citations per faculty (20%), international students (5%) and international faculty (5%). 


Our University has taken the 48th place in the ranking of (QS) for EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia). QS has ranked the top 300 universities in the Emerging European and Central Asian region, with Corvinus University of Budapest taking the 48th place. EECA is a dedicated ranking of the top universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia. Its methodology has been developed to reflect priorities and challenges for universities in this region. Given that it does not consider American and British universities and the ranked universities of the region have similar resources, this narrowed ranking shows more objective results.

In the global ranking of Economics and Econometrics, Corvinus took a place between 301-350, while in the category of Social Sciences and Management, it was ranked between 401-450.

Eduniversal

Corvinus Business School gained the second place among the best business schools of the Central and Eastern European region according to the survey of Eduniversal in 2018.

The Business School has gained four palmes of excellence (out of the achievable five palmes) and thus it shares the second place with the University of Ljubljana in the Central and Eastern European region.

Eduniversal uses dual methodology to set up the ranking each year. The ranking is based on the results from the academic peers who participated in the annual Deans’ Vote survey, which is supplemented by the results of the internal valuation methodology of Eduniversal.

Financial Times Ranking

In the 2018 global ranking of Financial Times, CEMS Master’s in International Management of Corvinus Business School took the 9th place. CEMS is a global alliance of academic and corporate institutions dedicated to educating and preparing future generations of international business leaders. Corvinus Business School is one of the top 30 business schools of the world that in cooperation with more than 75 corporations and 7 non-governmental organisations make CEMS Global Alliance.

Besides CEMS, MSc in Management and Leadership of the University took the 81th place in the ranking of Master Programmes in Management.

THE (Times Higher Education)

Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings has been ranking the top higher educational institutions worldwide for 15 years. In their publication, they rank approximately 1250 institution out of the approximately 20.000 higher educational institutions of the world. The first 200 universities are ranked one by one, while the rest of the ranked universities are divided into certain groups. In 2018, Corvinus was ranked between 801-1000, while in the  2019 ranking, it is ranked 1000+.

Emerging universities are ranked separately on the list of Emerging Economics. In this ranking, Corvinus is placed between 251-300 in 2018. THE also ranks universities on the base of their results in their academic fields. In these rankings, Corvinus is ranked between 401-500 in the social sciences ranking, while it takes 501+ place in the business and economics ranking in 2019.
